For this unit, we will be learning and using Adobe Illustrator CS6. Adobe Illustrator is a graphic creation software used to create Vector-based works. It is used by professionals in a variety of industries and fields.
Hand-Made: Geometric Compositions
Put up, and discuss arrangements made from 5 mediumly thick + 1extra thick brown strips of paper on a half sheet of off white paper. Arrangements should be non representational. Paper may be manipulated.
Look into Bauhaus (link), De Stijl (precursor to Bauhaus), and other geometric influenced styles.
Using the magazines provided, create your own non-representational piece. See my example on the wall (clue: it’s the “winning” one).
