Project: Design History

Investigate

What is Design? Why do we design? Find out what different designers feel about it? There are some interesting videos and interviews you can find on this.

Look into different historical design movements and styles. Which ones do you feel you could create something in using Illustrator?

Look into different resources that may aid you in learning any additional skills in illustrator you might need.

Plan

Plan how you could design a poster that expresses an idea of “what design is”. Choose a historical movement or style to work within.
